In this Classroom, students will develop and strengthen their academic and organizational skills. Students explore individual strengths and weaknesses, and learn strategies for success in their academic classes. The students will set goals for themselves and track their progress through the course of the school year. Topics include time management, active listening, reading textbooks, taking notes, reviewing notes and material previously covered, preparing for tests, and managing homework. Students will work on computer skills such as utilizing teacher websites and online sources. Students will also work on skills such as keyboarding, internet usage, word processing, and other applications.
