Hello! I am excited to be your teacher this year.
I was born in Los Angeles, but most of my life has been spent in San Diego. I am an identical twin and while living in Los Angeles, my parents put me to work as a child star on shows such as E.R. and the Power Rangers. That career was very short lived (and my twin got more screen-time) and I decided I wanted to be a teacher shortly after.
I studied biology with an emphasis in ecology and evolution at the University of California- Merced and minored in Natural Science Education in a partnership program with University of California- Berkeley. I graduated in the spring of 2022. After graduating, I worked as a 9th grade biology teacher for a year. I am excited to be at CPMS this year!
I have a pet cat, named fish. Sometimes, I take her hiking when the weather is nice! I used to have 3 guinea pigs, but they sadly passed away. I am a big Elvis fan, so 98% of the time I am listening to Elvis outside of school. When I am not at school, you will probably find me at the San Diego Zoo around the aviaries or the ape and primate enclosures or on a hike!
My three guinea pigs eating grass. In order from left to right: Sage, Lily, and Elvis. All of them are females. Perhaps the first female Elvis?
My twin, Jenna, and I outside of Graceland, Elvis' home.
I got to hold one of Elvis' boots! This boot is from 1972 and was actually worn by Elvis! And yes I kept the gloves!
An image of a tiger I took at the San Diego Zoo. Go tigers!
