Hi, my name is Ms. Henderling and I am very excited to join College Prep Middle School this year! I look forward to sharing the beauty of the world though history and inspiring a life-long love of learning with my students!

I was born and raised in San Diego and have a deep love for my community. I graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a double major in Political Science (International Relations) and History. I then received my Single Subject Teaching Credential in Social Science from San Diego State University.

In my free time, I love to work in my garden, sew, feed geese at the lake, and hang out with my dog (Rocky) and cat (Oliver)! I love being outside enjoying nature and visiting the zoo with my family every year! 

I look forward to working with my students and their families this school year so that every student can become the best version of themselves they can be!
