In this classroom, my goal is to nurture caring life-long learners. Education isn't just about kindergarten through college. Education is a life-style that I hope all of my students embrace. If you stop learning, then you stop growing. I also hope that my students see math not just as a subject to pass during school but as the language that we use to make sense of the world. 8th grade math builds the skills and confidence you need to succeed in high school math classes, from Integrated Math to Pre-Calculus and even AP Calculus! We will explore geometric transformations, linear relationships, functions (both linear and non-linear), the laws of exponents, Real numbers, and statistics.
