About Mr. Delgado
Welcome back parents and students. My name is Mr. Delgado, or Coach Delgado, and I'm excited to begin my first year here at College Prep Middle School. I've been working in education for 9 years now, with 5 years of teaching experience. I'm excited to get this year started and encourage students to build lifelong healthy habits through what we will learn and do in PE. It is my firm belief that Physical Education is the most important subject in school as it provides students the opportunity to learn valuable lessons in health that will help them develop good habits and live long healthy lives.
I received my bachelor's degree from San Diego State University in Kinesiology, with an emphasis in Physical Education. I continued my pursuit of higher learning in getting my master's degree from National University in Education with an emphasis in Educational Leadership, as well as my Teaching Credential.
I am born and raised in Southern California, and have called San Diego home for 15 years now. Sports are a lifelong passion of mine, both participating in and watching. My fandom for the Aztecs, Lakers, and Broncos will be on full display through the year. I've also coached high school football in San Diego for 5 years. In addition to that, I'm also a big fan of Marvel, all animals, fitness, and exploring the world.
