I am excited to begin my fifth year as a professional educator and am thrilled to be joining the College Prep Middle School community for the 2026–2027 school year!
Originally from Boston, I have called San Diego home for most of my life. Throughout my teaching career, I have had the opportunity to work with students across a variety of grade levels and school communities. Before joining College Prep, I taught 7th and 8th Grade History at Montgomery Middle School in El Cajon, as well as 10th and 12th Grade History at University City High School. I then spent time teaching 6th Grade Humanities and ELD in Spring Valley before relocating to Los Angeles, where I taught 7th and 8th Grade History at a charter school. I am excited to return to San Diego and begin this next chapter as your 6th Grade History Teacher!
I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in History from the University of Redlands and continued my education there, earning a Master’s Degree in Education along with my Single Subject Teaching Credential in Social Science.
Outside of the classroom, I am a passionate Boston sports fan and enjoy watching all sports. I especially love attending San Diego Gulls hockey games with my fiancé! I am also an avid sailor and enjoy traveling and exploring the world. So far, I have had the opportunity to visit 20 different countries, and I look forward to adding many more to that list.
I am looking forward to an exciting year filled with learning, discovery, and memorable experiences. I can't wait to meet my students and begin our journey through history together!
