Welcome Tigers!
Hello all, I am Mr. Mosier, your Physical Education and Wellness teacher at CPMS.
I am looking forward to getting to know all of you and I'm very excited to start the 2023/2024 year.
I am very excited to be joining the Tiger family in the Physical Education/ Wellness Department. I was born and raised in San Diego. Growing up in southern California, baseball was a huge part of my life. I was drafted by the Chicago White Sox out of Valhalla High School in 2011. I played in the minor leagues for parts of three seasons with the Sox. After my playing career, I went back to school and earned my bachelor’s degree in communication from San Diego State University. After graduating, I worked in professional baseball as an amateur scout for both the Atlanta Braves and Detroit Tigers. Since then, I have served as the head Varsity baseball coach at Grossmont High School and have worked towards finalizing my teaching credential and master’s degree in social/emotional learning.
I am recently married. My wife, Catherine and I reside in the La Mesa area. We have a year and half old English Bulldog, Houston. We love spending time with him, going to the gym, playing golf and surfing in our free time. I am a huge advocate for health, wellness, and athletics. I am passionate about sharing the knowledge I have learned over the years with the next generations to come. I could not be more excited to get to work with the team at College Prep. Go Tigers!
