After two years, I moved from Woodlake to Minarets High School, where I worked from 2015 - 2022. Minarets High School is a project-based school that is 1:1 with Macbooks. During my seven years, I served in a variety of different roles:
I was tasked with creating and teaching Minarets Cs, a new class that was designed to help support freshmen as they adjust to high school. On top of this, I taught World and US History while also establishing and teaching Digital Journal, known as Minarets Press.
I was a MIC mentor teacher where I supported teachers as they cleared their credential through the Madera Induction Consortium . This included observing their classes, providing support, organizing other classroom observations, and sitting in on Exit Interviews.
I was an advisor for the Minarets chapters of the California Scholarship Federation and the National Honor Society.
I led and organized Minarets Abroad, a club on campus that participated in international trips. I led trips to (1) Spain, France, and England (2) Germany, Poland, Austria, and Czech Republic (3) Italy and Greece.
I was on the PBIS Leadership team
I was the WASC Coordinator and participated on a visiting
I was a lead teacher and a member of the Advisory committee.
I was part of the CVNIC team
I served as Interim Head of Charter
