LAPTOP INSURANCE INFORMATION
Why? In the last year we had 2 laptops stolen, and about 15% of them damaged with significant cost to each student. Much of this is carelessness. We constantly remind students to PROTECT THE TECH. Unfortunately, some don’t. We strongly encourage each Minarets family to get Laptop Insurance. Details below.

This will cover Accidental Damage, Liquid Damage, Theft, Fire, Vandalism, Natural Disasters. Also, most home owners and car insurance don’t cover laptops or the deductible is more than the cost of the laptop. You certainly can check with your own insurance provider.
Students with accidental damage, careless damage, theft of a laptop will be provided with an OLDER MacBook until balance is paid in full for their MacBook Air. Screen damage is usually $300-$500, dents and damage to casing range from $300-$450. Full laptop replacement is $950-$1250 depending on model.
