The mission of the Belton Mentor Program is to develop and retain novice teachers by providing professional learning experiences in a supportive environment which encourage reflective practice, improve the instructional repertoire, and increase student performance.

The goal of the mentoring program is to provide support for the mentee-New Teacher and allow them to have an opportunity to meet with their mentor and discuss/share successes and concerns, and pinpoint areas for improvement.
