#WeAllBelong
Every year, librarians across Texas nominate and vote on books to be included on the Lone Star reading list. The books have received stellar reviews, awards, and of course, passed the librarian test. Every year, the list includes books from a variety of levels, featuring many different types of characters and genres. Anything from realistic fiction, sports, fantasy, horror, adventure, to historical fiction, can appear on the list. There is something for everyone on the Lone Star Reading List!
To become a Lone Star Reader, a student must read at least five books from the current year's Lone Star Reading List. After each book read, a book review must be completed and submitted to the librarian. At the end of the school year, Lone Star Readers will get to enjoy a special prize for earning this honorable designation. Ready? Set. READ!
When you finish a Lone Star book, fill out the Google Form and submit. Be prepared to answer any additional questions Mrs. Wilson may have for you about the book.
