Installing HawkSoft CMS Using Microsoft Windows
This article provides instructions for setting up a computer to access HawkSoft Online.

Important! Before you begin:
◾You will need your HawkSoft Online and HawkSoft CMS Credentials. Your HawkSoft Administrator should have these credentials. For assistance, contact HawkSoft Support.
◾Close all applications before installing HSO.
◾It is recommended to contact Product Support before installing HawkSoft Online. Product Support will help you download and install the correct version of HawkSoft Online for your agency.
Install HSO on your computer
1.Download and run the HawkSoft Online Installer.

A File Download - Security Warning prompt appears.
2.Click Run.
A User Account Control prompt appears.
3.Click Yes to allow changes to your computer.
The HawkSoft Online Workstation Setup Wizard opens.
4.Click Next to continue.
The destination defaults to c:\Haw. You can change the destination if needed.
5.Click Next.
NOTE: If you get a message that the folder already exists, click Yes to install to that folder anyway.
The Select Components dialog opens.
Leave the default components checked.
6.Click Next to continue.
The Ready to Install dialog opens.
7.Click Install.
The Completing the HawkSoft Online Workstation Setup Wizard dialog opens.
The Run HawkSoft Uploader check box is selected by default. The Uploader can be useful for uploading large files, and is also required to run in the background for phone integration with HawkSoft Online to work.
8.Click Finish.
The HawkSoft Uploader is open on your desktop. You can minimize the dialog, and then access the Uploader from your HawkSoft folder if needed.
9.Double-click on the Parallels Client icon on your desktop.
If the icon does not appear on your desktop, double-click the Parallels icon in your System Tray (also known as Hidden Icons).
10.Click File > New Connection.
11.The New Connection dialog opens.
Enter the server information given to your agency admin.
You can enter any name in the Friendly Name field to name this connection.
Contact HawkSoft Support if you don't know your server address.
12.Enter your login credentials provided by your agency admin.
NOTE: If you do not know your HawkSoft Online credentials and an agency administrator is unable to provide them, contact Product Support. Product Support requires written permission from a main contact listed on your agency's HawkSoft License Agreement before assisting with lost credentials.
13.Change your password if prompted, click Change Password, and then click OK.
14.Right-click on the HawkSoft CMS icon, and then select Create Shortcut on Desktop.
15.Click on the HawkSoft icon on your desktop, and then enter your User Initials and Password.
You can close the Parallels window.
