Here are some of our sketches and ideas from our first ideation session where we each came up with three ideas and passed them around the group to be expanded on. We then each voted by putting stickers on our top three ideas.
These images include our original prototype prior to seeking stakeholder feedback. From our ideation session we decided to do a cook book. These images are prototypes that we decided to present to our stakeholders where we received feedback.
This publishing firm focuses on education and also seems like a trust worthy publishing firm because it's AU and they have a criteria for what they will publish and have a safe well lay out website.
This publishing firm has a good website and they also specialize in cook books (which is what we will print) so taking all of this into account this seems like a good place to print.
After meeting with our mentor and presenting to the class we have decided that it will be best if we make an app rather than a physical recipe book. This way we can create a community of like minded people who want to reduce their food waste and help other by sharing their ideas with each others.
After looking at different recipes apps that are already on the market, we have created this prototype and it reflects what we want our final product to look like.
We have decided to go with Adalo as it is free to use and is very straight forward meaning we can make the app all that we want it to be.
Here is a screenshot of the different screens we currently have on Adalo.
