The West Clermont Local School District is located approximately thirty minutes east of downtown Cincinnati. This suburban community is crossed north-south by Interstate 275 and east-west by State Routes 125 and 32. The district covers fifty-four square miles including Union Township, Amelia Village and portions of Batavia, Monroe, Ohio and Pierce Townships.


Regional, Educational, and Cultural Attractions

West Clermont residents have easy access to the surrounding educational, cultural, sports and recreational facilities afforded by a metropolitan area. The University of Cincinnati, Xavier University, Northern Kentucky University, Clermont College, Thomas More College, College of Mount Saint Joseph and Miami University and all within close driving distance from West Clermont.


Culturally, the area has several museums, the Cincinnati Symphony and Ballet, and other venues for fine arts performances, including the newly constructed Aronoff Center. Besides college sports, professional sports include the Cincinnati Reds, Cincinnati Bengals, FC Cincinnati (soccer), and the Cyclones (hockey). Recreational facilities include East Fork Lake, the Cincinnati Zoo, the Hamilton and Clermont County Park Systems, and the Ohio River.
