This workshop examines the design and integration of autonomous systems that combine neuromorphic perception with a broader set of sensing, computation, and control techniques. While event-driven technology remains central to the discussions, the workshop seeks to include a range of AI methodologies, real-time control architectures, and energy-efficient approaches. Researchers from various domains, such as embedded systems, sensor fusion, and robotics, are invited to propose solutions that address challenges in data processing, scalability, and deployment under resource and latency constraints. The expected outcome is an expanded understanding of how event-driven perception can operate alongside conventional sensors and algorithms, leading to more robust, adaptable, and sustainable autonomous platforms.

The workshop will address a variety of themes that intersect with neuromorphic perception, including hardware-software co-design for real-time AI, adaptive fusion of event-based and traditional sensor data, and power-aware techniques for continuous operation. There will be a focus on strategies to achieve reliability in domains where consistency and responsiveness are critical, such as autonomous vehicles, industrial monitoring, and robotic automation. The objectives include identifying research gaps in integrating event-driven technologies with mainstream AI pipelines, discussing platform-level optimisations that reduce latency and energy consumption, and examining frameworks that ensure safety and performance under diverse operating conditions. By bringing together researchers in neuromorphic engineering, sustainable computing, and real-time systems, the workshop aims to foster an environment where multiple perspectives converge to advance the field of autonomous systems as a whole.

The workshop will feature presentations by invited speakers whose expertise spans event-driven perception, classical AI methods, embedded computing, and control systems. Authors of accepted submissions will deliver brief presentations that spotlight key research insights, followed by interactive discussions with the audience. There will also be a concluding synthesis session that highlights emerging themes, offers directions for future work, and outlines potential collaborative efforts. Attendees will gain a better understanding of how diverse sensor and AI technologies can converge to address real-world requirements for autonomous systems. They will also have opportunities to build connections with peers from academia, industry, and related research fields.
