We have an abundance of online courses offered here at Pitt Community College. Online courses are great options for students who work full-time and/or simply prefer the online environment. However, sometimes you are not able to locate your course offerings online or face-to-face here at PCC. When this happens, use the link below to search for online offerings across the North Carolina Community College System. It is a very simply process. Just remember, if you choose to register for an online course at another community college in North Carolina, you must apply for enrollment at that institution and send any necessary transcripts to the particular colleges to showcase the prerequisite courses (if required) for each course wanting to take at the other college. Additionally, if you are on financial aid you will simply need to let your financial aid representative at PCC know you are taking additional courses online at another community college in North Carolina. So if you took 6 hours at PCC and 6 hours at Forsythe Technical Community College (online) for a total of 12 hours you could still be classified as a full-time student here at PCC. You would set up a consortium agreement (see more below). All that is typically required is you pay for your courses at the other institution out of pocket and then submit proof of attendance at the other school to PCC and alert your Financial Aid Rep. as well. This way your Financial Aid award letter at PCC would allow for the additional hours taken at the other institutions.
