In this page, you can find an assignment from each of my 5 classes during the Fall 2023 semester, which I believe best represents each class, or it's simply a project I'm proud of.
This programming assignment from my CS 1 class reflects everything we learned throughout the semester. It reads in 20 numbers from a given file, from which it will form a 4x5 table. From there, it adds up every value as well as determines both the highest and smallest values. Finally, it proceeds to double every value in the table and print it again.
This assignment was rather difficult considering how little it affected our grade (Just a mere 5% weight), but nonetheless, I was pretty happy with what I managed to put together for it. It would be the first serious research paper I have composed in college, and I personally thought it covered an interesting subject. Unfortunately, since I had to write it in under 5 days, I will say that it isn't my best work.
This isn't necessarily an assignment, but rather a certificate. It may seem underwhelming, but if any of the other sections are something to go by, this class has taken the most of my time this semester. We have completed just under 400 different mathematical topics between Algebra and Trigonometry, so this certificate has come at the expense of just over 128 hours this semester. This may not sound like a lot, but with my total class load being 18 weekly hours, it was definitely quite the task to keep up with. Additionally, there's a screenshot of stats, which shows a week high of nearly 17 hours, or the equivalent of an average part-time job.
This assignment wasn't anything crazy, but I really liked this one, and since I'm posting something from every class, I figured this one wouldn't hurt to add. It holds significance as it was the first essay I made a 100 on in the class, as the first 2 were really bogging down my grade because I wasn't quite sure what the professor wanted.
Last but certainly not least, I have included the initial abstract as well as the poster presentation for our Campus Improvement Project. This project signifies the struggle of teamwork, as some of my group members did not pull their weight, and it culminates the idea of thinking critically about improvement.
