Austin Perine ("President Austin") - 2018 to Present:
Origin (2018): After learning about homelessness from a TV show about pandas, 4-year-old Austin used his weekly allowance ($25) to buy chicken sandwiches for people in Birmingham, Alabama.
Expansion (2018–2019): His efforts evolved into the Show Love Foundation, which aims to build homeless shelters in every state.
Recognition: In 2018, the city of Mobile, Alabama, declared May 1 as "Austin Perine Day". By 2019, major brands like Burger King provided him with a monthly allowance to fund his mission.
Nick Lowinger - Early 2000s:
Though now an adult, Nick began visiting homeless shelters at age 5.
Noticing children in shelters lacked proper footwear, he eventually founded Gotta Have Sole, which has since provided new shoes to over 100,000 homeless children across the U.S..
