Shane – Owner and Founder

Shane, the visionary behind Santa Clarita Critter Haven, grew up with a deep love for animals and a dream to create a sanctuary where people could connect with them. After rescuing his first goat, Daisy, Shane was inspired to turn his passion into a full-time commitment. As the hands-on leader of the zoo, he spends his days caring for animals, engaging with visitors, and overseeing every detail of the operation. Shane’s warm personality and boundless energy make him a favorite among both staff and guests.

Claire – Animal Care Specialist

Claire has been with Santa Clarita Critter Haven since its early days. With a background in veterinary science, she ensures every animal receives top-notch care and attention. From daily health checks to creating enrichment activities, Claire is dedicated to making sure the animals are happy and thriving. Visitors often find her bottle-feeding baby goats or answering questions about animal behavior with a smile.

Miguel – Facilities Manager

Miguel keeps the petting zoo running smoothly. From building sturdy enclosures to maintaining the lush grounds, he ensures that every part of the zoo is safe, clean, and welcoming. Known for his inventive ideas, Miguel recently added climbing structures to the goat pen and revamped the chicken coop to include eco-friendly materials.

Emily – Education Coordinator

Emily organizes all the educational programs at Santa Clarita Critter Haven, including field trips, workshops, and seasonal events. With a background in teaching and a love for animals, she makes learning fun for kids and adults alike. Whether she’s leading a tour or hosting a “Meet the Animals” session, Emily’s enthusiasm is contagious.

Jacob – Guest Experience Specialist
