I love animation a lot! It is so captivating to look at. I am mainly a fan of 2D and 3D stylized animation. There is a difference between the two. 2D is when you animate something frame by frame. You can draw one drawing, then in the next frame, you can make another, but change the pose or proportions slightly, and continue the action until you create an animation. 2D animation requires layers, meaning it'll start as rough animation, which is the basic idea. Cleanup is when they polish the rough, and color is well, color. 2D animation allows for more fluid and stylized movement, but I'm also a fan of 3D animation, more specifically 3D animation. 3D animation involves creating a model of a character that is sculpted on computer software and later animated. 3D animation is definitely an advantage since you don't have to draw the same thing over and over, but I prefer it when it's stylized, meaning that it can have a quick movement, 2D elements mixed in, and much more. Think of something like Into the Spider-Verse. I do 2D a lot, and I'm thinking of doing 3D so I can work at my favorite indie company, GLITCH Productions.
