Hard Rock Cafe Review
Looking At The Menu / Food
Food-wise, the place seems to have a variety of unique and delicious options. If you don't know what to order immediately, it will usually be easy to decide within at least a few minutes as the options are various and look appetizing. The starter that I ordered was the spicy shrimp, which has a very strong kick to it but an amazing flavor along with it. As for the entrees, I picked the twisted mac and cheese, which has an interesting twisted shape and a beautifully melted cheese on top, adding a nice flavor. It also has a seasoning that pairs really well with it and was probably the best mac and cheese I've had, although it's far less basic than the regular mac and cheese I normally have. This is off of what I personally ordered; I enjoyed the experience well and found their options to have a unique and flavorful taste to it rather than being made in a basic way that feels repetitive. The other options on the menu look interesting as well! If I'd ordered a dessert, it would have been the cheesecake.
The Area / Environment In General
The place was well-lit with beautiful lighting that complements the scenery and food that's offered. As soon as you walk in, there's actually a merchandise area where you can buy clothing, such as the shirt in the photo below. The merchandise is very comfortable and the jackets have comfortable texture on the inside that protects you from the cold weather wonderfully. I wore a tank top with it before in pretty cold weather and felt so comfortable with the jacket! As for the restaurant experience, you walk down some stairs past the cashier to get to a table. Sometimes the waitresses/waiters would come up to the table and offer to take pictures. I'm not sure if this is strictly in the Hollywood Hard Rock Cafe, however they came up with a canon camera to offer the customer if they can take a photo at the table. The place also has rock music videos playing at the tables on TV screens which you can watch while you enjoy your food; there's also a stage downstairs that has a drum set, guitar and microphone and is lit by purple lights that contrast well with the environment. I'm not entirely sure whether you can take pictures there or not, however I believe that the stage was accessible. It also looks interesting with the rest of the place and adds to the restuarant's style well.
