Monaco is considered to be Formula 1s most famous race and has been raced since 1929. The track is a "street circuit" meaning that is takes place on a route of street roads and not a special track.
1952.
Formula 1 saw its first full season take place in 1952. The new regulations make the new cars unrecognizable from their intial namesake however the sport still revolves around the same system. 20 drivers race with the winner taking the most points. Across the season points are tallied per each team for a "Constructors Title" and the individual driver with the most points wins the "World Drivers Championship".
