Rocky Balboa
Rocky (American) is the movie's main protagonist. As the current heavy-weight title holder, he stands at 5'11 and weighs about 190 lbs. His record stood at 57-23-1 (54 KO) and he was about 40 years old by 1985. Rocky's best victories came from Apollo vs Rocky 2 and Rocky vs Clubber 2, both victories were by knockout. Rocky was known for his "tactic" of not blocking (Which some fans argue its called blocking with his face) due to his incredible durability and perseverance.

Apollo Creed
Apollo Creed (American) was the movie's confidant (Rocky's best friend). Apollo was 6'2 and weighed about 221 lbs also being about 42-43 years old. His boxing record at retirement was 46-1 (45 KO. Both the loss and no knockout is from Rocky) Apollo and Rocky used to be rivals (Rocky 1-2 era) but after Rocky beat him, they came to respect and care for each other. In Rocky 3, Apollo helped train Rocky after the loss of Rocky's trainer Mickey and losing the title to Clubber Lang. Apollo is known for being a showman and very confident (Sometimes arrogant, especially against Drago).

Captain Ivan Drago
Ivan Drago (Or Captain Drago as he is ranked in the Red Army) is the antagonist, a Soviet gold medalist Olympic boxer. He stands at a staggering 6'5 and weighs about 261 lbs and at the age of 35. Drago's amateur record was 100-0 (100 KO) and then his professional record was 31-0 (31 KO). Drago is cold, indifferent, and neutral. His punches registered at 2150 PSI which is about triple a normal heavy weight boxer's. Drago was forced to take steroids by Soviet officials and coaches since he was more of a tool for the Soviet government.
