The Disneyland carousel is known as the King Arthur Carousel, a classic attraction located in the heart of Fantasyland. It was an original attraction from the park's opening day in 1955 and features hand-carved, antique horses, including the famous Jingles, a favorite of Walt's wife, Lillian. Riders can choose to sit on stationary horses or those that move up and down, as they are transported around the park to the sounds of Disney classics.
