The founding members of Pink Floyd were Roger Waters, Nick Mason, and Richard Wright, all attending a higher education for architecture where Syd Barret later joined. Their career started humble struggling to get plays originally playing blue songs when they got their business partner Andrew King's inheritance to buy $23k in instruments for their band. With this new equipment they played underground all over the UK before exploding in popularity through clubs and eventually getting offers from music labels. They went on to release 15 studio albums before disbanding in 1983 after releasing The Final Cut. They later reunited in 2022 to release their final song as a protest for the war in Ukraine.
