**Holiday Celebrations at Coach B’s Zoo**
At **Coach B’s Zoo**, we love celebrating the holidays with special events, animal-themed activities, and festive fun for the whole family! Here’s what you can expect during the major holidays:
**1. Christmas (December 24-25)**
- **Holiday Lights & Animal Wonderland**: Our zoo is beautifully decorated with twinkling lights, and select animals have special holiday-themed enclosures.
- **Santa’s Visit**: Kids can meet Santa and take photos with him (and some of our furry friends)!
- **Holiday Treats for Animals**: Watch as our animals receive special Christmas treats and enrichment, like decorated hay bales and fruit-filled stockings.
**2. New Year’s Eve (December 31)**
- **Noon Year’s Eve Celebration**: A kid-friendly version of New Year’s Eve, complete with animal-themed activities, party hats, and a "countdown" to noon.
- **Animal Parade**: Join in a festive parade around the zoo, celebrating the new year with music and fun!
**3. Halloween (October 31)**
- **Zoo Boo Bash**: Dress up in your best costumes and enjoy trick-or-treating stations around the zoo. Special “Spooky Animal Encounters” with nocturnal creatures like bats and owls.
- **Pumpkin Carving Contest**: Watch as our zookeepers carve pumpkins for the animals, and see which ones they enjoy the most!
**4. Easter (April)**
- **Egg Hunts for Kids**: A fun Easter egg hunt with a twist! Find eggs filled with animal-related prizes around the zoo.
- **Animal Easter Parade**: Watch as our animals receive Easter-themed goodies like colorful eggs and veggies, and join in a parade around the zoo!
**5. Thanksgiving (November)**
- **Thanks for the Animals Day**: Celebrate by learning about our zoo’s conservation efforts and the animals we’re grateful for.
- **Turkey Time!**: Watch the animals enjoy special Thanksgiving treats, and learn about the wild turkeys in our area.
**6. Independence Day (July 4)**
- **Red, White, and Zoo Party**: Enjoy patriotic-themed activities, with face painting, flag-making, and an “Animal Parade.”
- **Zoo Fireworks (off-site viewing)**: For guests visiting the zoo, we offer a safe, off-site location to enjoy local fireworks shows.

- **Love for Animals**: Celebrate by making animal enrichment gifts like heart-shaped treats or “love letters” to the animals!
