What is Apex Legends?
Apex Legends is a multiplayer battle royal where you versus other squads on an open map as a ring closes in and makes the map smaller. In the standard trios mode, there are three people in your team and you can choose between a roster of characters or legends that have different abilities. Every legend has three abilities in total which include the passive ability, the tactical ability which has a cooldown, and an ultimate ability which charges up until it can be used.
Why should I play Apex?
Although the battle royal genre of video games is common and widely known across a variety of games, this specific game is able to differentiate itself from other games of the same median. For instance, as you may already know, this game has many different legends that each contain different abilities that can fit your playstyle. There are currently 22 different characters to pick from and 4 different maps that rotate around, so it is not just the same map every time. In addition, there is an additional feature that makes the game a lot of fun to play which is the movement.
The Starter Characters
There are 6 characters that you start out with. They include Bangalore, Wraith, Pathfinder, Lifeline, Gibraltar, and Bloodhound. Bangalore has a smoke bomb and rockets. Wraith can run away in the void which means she cannot be shot and gains a speed boost and has a portal. Pathfinder can grapple and has a zipline that he can place down. Lifeline can res her teammates faster, has a drone that can heal, and a care package that gives you loot. Gibraltar has an invincible dome that protects you and your teammates and a missile barrage. Finally, Bloodhound can scan for nearby enemies, can tell when a team is nearby, and can see the enemies through objects with his other ability.
