We've had a super start to term 1.
P1/3 have been out and about learning about the different types of housing in the village and who might live in them. They have also been helping to harvest veg at the Crown Estate veg garden. P4/7 have been learning about the Romans and enjoyed making their Roman shields.
The house captains are running our new Wednesday tuck shop which is proving very popular.
Our health week was a great success. Activities included a walk to school promotion, making worry dolls and a fruity treasure hunt. We all developed our bike skills with Outfit Moray ending the week with the bike ramps for P1/4 and a 16 mile Speyside Way cycle challenge for P5/7.
P4/7 walked up Cairn Diamh with Outfit Moray and children from Glenlivet Primary.
We've started term 2 off with lots of Halloween fun!
P1-3 are continuing their year of learning all about our local area by learning all about life in a Dark Skies Park. They were lucky enough to be visited by rangers Polly (from the Cairngorm National Park) and Mark (from the Glenlivet Estate) who told them all about how dark skies are good for our health and wellbeing, for animals and for businesses, tying in with Global Goals 3, 8 and 15.
P4-7 raised £96 for Children in Need with the sponsored football challenge.
We enjoyed celebrating St Andrews Day with family and friends.
Our Christmas Service was a great success!
We all enjoyed our delicious Christmas lunch.
