How it works; on completion of the parkrun on the last Sunday of every month, the Active Schools team will check the Cooper Park Junior Parkrun results. All those who participated and have registered to the league will receive a point for their school. We are encouraging participation therefore finishing positions will not affect the number of points received, the structure will always be 1 point per finisher. The points will keep building until the last Parkrun of the school year in May 2026. Points cannot be back dated. The school with the most overall participation points will win their respective league. We will have 3 categories, small primary schools (99 pupils on the school role or less) large primary schools (100 pupils on the school role or more) and secondary schools (Please note the age limit for Junior Park Run is between 4 and 14). Any child can run in as many or as few of these events as they wish.
