Pink Week begins on October 13th! We will be raising money to donate to Bay Area Cancer Connections, an organization that provides support to people with breast or ovarian cancer. There will be several events and fundraisers throughout the week for students and staff to participate in.
TUESDAY
Tuesday at lunch there will be a “Honor a Loved One” lunchtime event. Students will be able to honor those who have battled breast cancer by writing their names on flags, which will be displayed in the quad.
WEDNESDAY
On Wednesday at lunch, we will be having ribbon making in the Quad! Come show you support for Cancer Awareness and make your own free pink ribbon pin!
THURSDAY
On Thursday, students can come to the front of the Student Union during lunch to learn more about breast cancer realities & misconceptions. Spin the wheel and guess if the statements are myths or facts, and get pink lemonade or sprite for each correct guess!
FRIDAY
Dress up in pink and Prospect will donate $1! There is a Pink Out football game today at 7pm! Make sure to wear pink and support breast cancer.
FUNDRAISING TABLE
There is a fundraising table at lunch throughout the week in the quad. Drop by to donate and win some fun prizes! Find our table during Club Food Day where we will be selling pasta!
