Wavered Balance
Chronizó and Prothumia's drastically different effects on the completion of labor rightfully made them enemies in constant battle with one another.
Like a game of chess, the Gods would make their move on the mortals. Each act of procrastination, being Chronizó's careful move, with his pieces creeping across the chessboard and defeating Prothumia's pieces. With every act of promptness in beginning a task, Prothumia would respond on the board, challenging Chronizó with a wiser play and outmaneuvering his delay.
At times, however, Chronizó's appeal to the mortals proved too strong for Prothumia's interjection, his pieces crawling closer to triumph and calling checkmate. After Chronizó's win, the mortals became constant or even chronic procrastinators. Thus, Prothumia's appeal to promptness in completing labors were desecrated by Chronizó's deceit.
