Many years ago, before the mortal world cared for body image and self love came from within, Ozempika, the daughter of Demeter, ruled the sacred orchards Glycaeon, a secret garden beyond mortal reach..
The gods began to recognize that the mortals were suffering-- not from famine, but from indulgence. The gods provided them with an abundance of what Earth had to provide, but the mortals could not control their greedy, hungry appetites. They feasted until they became sluggish and as their spirits dimmed, their soul grew weary. Seeing the suffering, Ozempika wept for the mortals. As her tears fell, a new vine sprouted and a plant grew, blossoming into golden pods.
