A long time ago, before love had a name to the feeling, love was only depicted through the one and only, Aphrodite, the daughter of Dione and Zeus. Dione always had high hopes for her daughter. They were very close, in fact. They had the most perfect mother-daughter relationship any human could dream of. However, like humans, divorce rates were high. As Zeus continued his affairs, Dione became bitter, which unfortunately impacted her relationship with Aphrodite. Dione, filled with resentment, blamed her daughter, the Goddess of Love, for the failure of her relationship with Zeus. The blame was subtle and secretive. It all started with projection towards Aphrodite’s love life. Aphrodite was in search for her one true love.
