This research aims to further understand the relationship between Autism Quotient (AQ; Baron-Cohen et al., 2001) Scale and age in a pre-registered secondary analysis of 1123 individuals 18 to 97 using standard AQ scoring and measuring the invariance.

Autism Characteristics and Self-Reported Health in Older Adulthood

AQ and Health Poster

This study aimed to use a continuous variable approach to extend evidence that autism spectrum disorder (ASD) characteristics are associated with significant struggles in physical and mental health and psychological well-being. 330 participants completed five self-report scales and the results showed an association between autism characteristics and all three areas.
