Below is the list of the Battle of the Book titles for the 2025-2026 year. There are ten books total, half being picture/nonfiction books and the other half being chapter books. 

Fourth, fifth and sixth grade students who want to try out for a Battle team will take a written exam prior at the end of September. The top performing students will be assigned to a team. There are five students on a team, and Travis can have 2-4 teams each year. Teams will begin to meet some in the fall, but most practices will be in the spring semester to prepare for the day of competition, which is held in May. 

The best way to get involved is to simply start reading the books on the list as soon as possible. Summer reading is encouraged.
