We are excited to welcome Jeanette Teta and Lara Castellani Santos  to the ELL team! Both will be teaching ESL at the Edgartown School. Jeanette joins us from the Quaboag Regional School District in Warren, MA, where she was an ESL teacher, while Lara previously worked as an ESP and Interpreter at the West Tisbury School. We’re thrilled to have them on board. Additionally, we look forward to welcoming Abigail Williamson back to the Edgartown School in January 2025!

A special thank you to Dianne Norton for her many years of dedicated service as the ELL department head at MVRHS. We are pleased to announce Jane McGroarty Sampaio as the new department head for the MVRHS ELL team. We appreciate Dianne Norton’s contributions to the program, students, and families.

Kelly-Ann Cooney will also be returning this year to continue her invaluable work in co-teaching coaching and facilitating Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) and professional development for co-teaching.

Our MVYPS ELL Program office is located at Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School, where we share the English Language Education office with the Martha’s Vineyard Adult Learning Program, supporting students and families from Pre-K through adulthood.
