• Miwok woman are important for indoor jobs and foods

• Miwok women gathered acorns and ground them into meals to make bread 

•  Women collected fruits, as well as berries, nuts, and other plants

• Women did not hunt, instead they stayed home to take care of the crops

• Miwok Women were important to the tribe.
