Jane Goodson

About me

Hello! My name is Jane Goodson and I am  privileged to work with the students, families, and staff at Meadows Valley School. I have always admired the strong sense of community here in New Meadows and I am thrilled to be your  School Counselor. 

I have been a school counselor for 10 years. When I am not working, my 4 year old son keeps me busy. We love to ski, swim and play in Idaho's beautiful outdoors as much as possible. Prior to adopting my son, I was a foster parent for two years.  My experience as a Foster Parent has increased my compassion and understanding of the struggles that many families face today. 

I earned my undergraduate degree in Social Work from Northwest Nazarene University in 2005 and my Graduate degree in Social Work from Walla Walla University in 2006. I am a Licensed Masters level Social Worker in the State of Idaho as well.
