About Me
My name is Courtney (Mrs. Scherer) and I am very excited to be teaching Spanish at Merrillville High School! I grew up in Schererville with my grandma and siblings while attending Lake Central High School. I graduated from Purdue Northwest in May of 2018. I previously student taught at Lake Central High School and I have been at Merrillville since January 2019. I love teaching and I have fostered many great relationships with students and staff during my time here. Languages have always interested me and I want to learn many more. I'm excited to share my love for language with my students and I hope to prepare them to succeed in their careers after high school or college.
