On Friday, September 26th, 13 PHS Art Club members were able to attend the East Central College High School Art Day. Students participated in workshops, toured the campus, collaborated with artists from other schools, and more! The workshops included renaissance paint making, Japanese book binding, ceramics, printmaking, 80s style digital design, wearable bandanas, and sculpture.

The PHS Art Club was chosen to paint the background scenery for the upcoming PHS musical production - "Seussical."
They've been doing an amazing job painting Dr. Seuss-inspired clouds, hills, mountains, bushes, trees, and signposts!
Art Club is meeting on Thursdays during Power Lunch, and painting crews are also working after school on Thursdays to get the scenery done in time for the late-October debut.
If you're interested in joining the PHS Art Club, contact Ms. Hall or Mr. Fuchs.
