How does rooming work?

As stated in our traveler code of conduct policy:

MVP International Athletics will not be held liable for any discrepancies or disagreements between assigned or unassigned roommates (all rooms are based on 2 persons in a room).

All travelers will either a). Register with a travel companion of his/her choice or b). Be assigned a roommate by MVP International Athletics.

Prior to the trip, all travelers will be given the opportunity to upgrade their status to single occupancy at an increased cost based on availability or room with the assigned traveler.

Should issues arise during the trip that are not able to be resolved, travelers will be able to upgrade to a single room assuming all costs for this upgrade IF the hotel can honor the request.

What if the trip cannot happen?

MVP is in touch with several outside counsels and authorities to ensure that the event can be run in a fun and safe environment. If MVP cannot lead the trip at the select dates and locations, MVP will do its best to provide alternative options for you.

If an individual decides to withdraw from the trip on their own and the event does occur, then the full non-refundable deposit and any additional cancellation fees will count towards a future trip with MVP.

In the unlikely event MVP needs to cancel the trip for any reason all deposits and payments will be fully refunded.

Is my deposit refundable?

Yes, deposits and payments are fully refundable up to 211 days prior to departure. Please see the terms and conditions in the registration for the complete cancellation terms.

How does trip insurance work? 

MVP always recommends purchasing trip insurance as soon as you sign up for the trip to ensure maximum coverage. MVP is unable to add legal commentary to particulars of travel insurance policies, however, MVP advises that purchasing trip insurance can help in the event of the following...

Injury, illness, or death of family that prevents a participant from attending the trip
Illness or injury while on the trip
Standard travel related issues such as flight delays, lost baggage, etc.

MVP International suggests these two policies but it is up you to ensure that these or any other policies fit your needs.
