Rooted in the traditions of Castroville and the growing communities of Medina Valley ISD, the Medina Valley High School Band has become and important part of Panther Pride and school spirit. As Medina Valley has grown from a small rural community into one of the fastest-growing areas outside San Antonio, the band program has grown alongside it. It has eveolved into a modern and competative program while still maintaining its close-knit family atmosphere.

For decades, Medina Valley Band students have represented the Panthers through Friday night football traditionns, UIL performances, parades, concerts and community events throughout Castroville and South Texas. The program has continually expanded opportunies for students in marching band, concert band, percussion, colorguard, and leadership development.

Today, the Medina Valley Band continues to build on that tradition with a focus on excellence, teamwork, and pride in representing the Panther community. Our students carry forward a tradition built on hard work, dedication and passion for music.
