The Middletown campus of Laurel Ridge has a lovely pollinator garden that was established some time ago and is maintained by the Laurel Ridge STEM club and faculty members. MVGS students worked to expand one end of that garden in spring 2023. Dry summers have slowed the plants' progress but they are patiently growing and many bloomed beautifully in the summer of 2024!
Native plants are super important, as they preserve soil quality, promote local biodiversity, and protect our native pollinators!
