We will focus on writing position, pencil grip and paper position. 

Grammar:Nouns, adding -ed to the end of verbs

Mechanics: Commas in a series. 

Spelling: Spell words with "magic e" to make the vowel sound long. 

We will begin working on writing numbers and counting objects. 

During Calendar, we are noticing patterns, learning the days of the week, months of the year and keeping track of the days we have been in First Grade.
