Welcome to 5th Grade Science!

5th Grade Science Standards:

• I can develop or use a model using all relevant key features.

• I can plan or conduct a valid investigation including all relevant key features.

• I can engage in scientific writing supported by evidence and/or explanation.

We will apply our use of models, investigations, and writing throughout each of these three main units of study:

1. Mixtures and solutions

2. Living Systems

3. Earth and Sun

These FOSS units are provided by Grant Wood AEA VAST Center.

Daily assignments are posted to your 5th-grader's Google Classroom for Science. Please refer to the Science Google Classroom when absent or when you want to review or see what we are working on in the physical classroom here at school.
