Career Presentation Project

Instructions for Career Presentation Project:

After exploring your interests, values, and skills-- You will be asked to create a presentation about a career of your choice. You must pick a job that you are able to research and find reliable information about using the platforms I am giving you. We will write out a rough draft of information about the job (what it is, why you chose it, income, training needed, etc.). Once the rough draft is completed, you will be asked to choose between two presentation formats: 

A Google Slides presentation OR

A poster presentation

You will layout all of the same information you gathered in your rough draft onto your poster or Google Slides Presentation. For either option, you MUST MAKE THE PRESENTATION VISUALLY INTERESTING! Add drawings, pictures, color, font changes, etc.

How to Copy a picture:

Step 1: Find an Image on the Internet

1. Open kiddle.co image search.

2. Type what you are looking for in the search box (some ideas for keywords: kindness, love, nice, happy, joyful, helping, compassion, hearts, stars, polka dots, etc.)

3. Press Enter.

4. Find a picture you like.

Step 2: Copy the Image

1. Put your mouse arrow on the picture.

2. Click with TWO fingers at the same time on the picture.
   (This makes the menu pop up.)

3. Click “Copy image.”

Step 3: Paste the Image into Google Slides

1. Go back to your Google Slides Kindness Collage tab.

2. Click on the slide where you want the picture.

3. Click with TWO fingers on the slide.

4. Click “Paste.”

Step 4: Fix the Size (If Needed)

1. Click on the picture.

2. Use the blue dots on the corners to make it bigger or smaller.

3. Move the picture where you want it.
