Copyright
Copyright gives a creator or author of a work the right to decide who can use the work,
make copies of the work, perform the work, display the work publicly, or make changes.
This includes papers, presentations, plays, videos, music, photographs, and artwork.
Take notes on what you read and use your own words. Plagiarism is when you copy someone else's work, words, or ideas and take credit for the work. It is okay to quote and reference sources, but never okay to copy and paste.
ALWAYS give credit to the source. Providing sources not only gives credit to the original content owner, it also gives credibility to your work.
Just because it's on the internet, doesn't mean it's okay to use in your project. However, there are many multimedia resources that WILL let you use their materials in your project - look for those shared through Creative Commons or use ImageQuest through GW OneClick.
