A high school graduate student who was awarded as valedictorian (top 1) or salutatorian (top 2) among the graduating class as a whole or by strand is qualified to apply for the academic scholarship.
A student applying for the scholarship must be in good standing. If the student is qualified and was granted an academic/earned scholarship and in case the student has violation on the later month on that specific term then the scholarship will be void.
Where the student scholar is required to undergo bridging, the subjects in the bridging are covered by the same policies on his/her scholarship.
A high school graduate who graduated valedictorian is given a 100% tuition fee scholarship. He/she must present a certification on his/her being a valedictorian.
He/she must maintain a GPA of at least 3.65 with no grade below B+ every semester in order to retain the scholarship.
In cases that his/her GPA falls below 3.65 but no lower than 3.45 with no grade below B, he/she may qualify for a 50% tuition fee scholarship.
He/she has not incurred any citizenship delinquency.
A high school graduate who graduated salutatorian is given a 50% tuition fee scholarship. He/she must present a certification on his/her being a salutatorian.
He/she must maintain a GPA of at least 3.45 with no grade below B every semester in order to retain the scholarship.
In cases that his/her GPA reaches 3.65 and above with no grade below B+, he/she may qualify for a 100% tuition fee scholarship. However, if his/her GPA falls below 3.45, he/she forfeits the scholarship.
He/she has not incurred any citizenship delinquency.
