Musubi-Te has been active since 2018 as a voluntary group and as a corporation since 2022. During this time, we have keenly felt the need to make more people aware of the realities we face. We are committed to compiling not only existing data and various survey results but also the realities from the field that we have encountered in our activities, related to poverty and educational issues both domestically and abroad. Our goal is to deliver this information to our supporters and all who view our efforts
We are actively working towards our mission every day through various support activities on the ground. The targets of such activities are those who are referred to as the impoverished.
However, the term 'impoverished' is quite abstract, and often, the reality behind it is not well-known. It is frequently said that poverty begets more poverty, but the reasons for this cycle are similar to the underlying issues themselves. I would like to introduce these, including some of my personal thoughts.

We surveyed rural communities to identify app usage trends, user behavior, and barriers to adoption.

A follow-up ethnographic study—personally conducted by Musubi-Te founder Kotaro Fukuoka—offered granular behavioral insights, informing the client's regional go-to-market strategy and feature customization.

We conducted a baseline survey focusing on employment, household income, spending patterns, family structure, and education levels.
The study filled critical data gaps often overlooked by government statistics.
Our final data intelligence report guided the client’s market prioritization and customer segmentation, helping optimize outreach and impact per dollar spent.
