The U.S Army Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps (JROTC) is a nationally accredited high school leadership and citizenship development class that prepares students to become better citizens. Guided by the mission "To Motivate Young People to be Better Citizens," the program emphasizes character, responsibility, service, and academic success.
The JROTC curriculum covers leadership, communication, wellness, U.S. government, emotional intelligence, and more-integrating technology, critical thinking, and real-life application to ensure a well-rounded learning experience. Cadets participate in co-curricular activities such as Drill and Raider competitions. While also participating in academic and leadership bowls. These experiences foster teamwork, discipline, and readiness for college or career paths.
JROTC cadets consistently outperform their peers in attendance, GPA, and graduation rates; while showing lower levels of indiscipline and dropout-making it one of the most impactful youth programs in American education today.
